1 Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website, making an enquiry, or confirming a booking with TraveloChat, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and comply with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020, and applicable tourism regulations.

2 Booking & Confirmation

  • All bookings are tentative until confirmed in writing (email/WhatsApp) by TraveloChat.
  • A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the advance payment as specified in your quote.
  • Confirmation documents (vouchers, itinerary) will be shared within 24–48 hours of payment clearance.
  • TraveloChat reserves the right to decline any booking at its sole discretion without assigning a reason.

3 Pricing, GST & Taxes

  • All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless specifically stated otherwise for international bookings.
  • GST is charged as per the prevailing Indian GST rate for tour operators (5% without ITC on the total tour value, as per HSN 9985).
  • International bookings may be subject to foreign exchange fluctuation; final billing uses the rate prevailing on the date of payment.
  • TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) may apply on certain payments as per the Income Tax Act, 1961.
  • Any government taxes, port charges, visa fees, or fuel surcharges levied after booking confirmation will be passed on to the client.

4 Payment Terms

  • Domestic Tours: 30% advance at booking, balance 15 days before departure.
  • International Tours: 40% advance at booking, balance 30 days before departure.
  • Peak Season / Festival Packages: 50% advance required; balance as specified.
  • Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS), UPI, Razorpay (credit/debit cards), cheque (cleared before confirmation).
  • Payments in foreign currency are accepted via wire transfer only, subject to FEMA compliance.

5 Passport, Visa & Documentation

  • Travellers are solely responsible for ensuring their passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond the return date.
  • TraveloChat may assist with visa applications but cannot guarantee visa approval. Visa fees are non-refundable.
  • Any loss or expense arising from incorrect, incomplete, or missing travel documents is the traveller's responsibility.
  • For international tours, you must comply with the immigration laws of the destination country.

6 Travel Insurance

TraveloChat strongly recommends purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, loss of baggage, and personal liability. While we may offer travel insurance as an add-on, it is governed by the insurer's terms. TraveloChat is not liable for any claims or disputes with the insurer.

7 Itinerary Changes & Force Majeure

  • TraveloChat reserves the right to modify itineraries due to weather, road/airline conditions, natural disasters, strikes, government orders, or any force majeure event.
  • Force majeure events include but are not limited to: acts of God, pandemics, war, civil unrest, government travel advisories, terrorist incidents.
  • In case of itinerary changes, suitable alternatives will be provided. No cash compensation will be payable for force majeure-related changes.
  • Hotel categories may be substituted with equivalent alternatives if confirmed properties become unavailable.

8 Liability & Indemnification

  • TraveloChat acts as a tour organiser and agent, not as a principal, for services provided by third-party hotels, airlines, transport operators, and activity providers.
  • TraveloChat's liability is limited to the total value of the booking in question.
  • TraveloChat is not liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage, delay, or additional expenses arising from third-party service failures.
  • Travellers indemnify TraveloChat against any claims arising from their own negligence, misconduct, or violation of local laws.

9 Consumer Rights & Dispute Resolution

  • Complaints should first be raised with our Customer Support team within 30 days of return.
  • If unresolved, disputes may be referred to the District Consumer Forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
  • International disputes involving EU/UK travellers may be referred to the appropriate ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) body.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Hisar, Haryana shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

10 Intellectual Property

All content on the TraveloChat website — including text, images, logos, itineraries, and graphics — is the intellectual property of TraveloChat and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999. No content may be reproduced without prior written consent.
